About Terrorism Offences
To be convicted of such offences does not require for you to carry out any specific activity. Recently legislation has been passed which prevents early release of convicted terrorists and therefore such accused are subject to length imprisonment.
The Terrorism Act 2000 and 2006 created a range of offences that fall under this category including being a member of a prohibited organisation and possessing documents on how to commit terrorist attacks e.g. bombings.
